Hearts of Oak coach Martin Koopman has asked for more time as he aim to turn things around for the club following an unimpressive start to the 2023/24 Ghana Premier League campaign.

The Phobians has been in dismal form this season, drawing two, losing two and winning just one game in the five games they have played so far. It is noteworthy the Ghanaian giants has an outstanding game against Heart of Lions.

Koopman’s outfit are currently in the relegation drop with just five points.

And speaking after his side stalemate against Samartex, the Dutch-trainer has advocated for time to turn things around for the club.

“I see performance and I’m proud of them. I think we need time because the players are young. We have players between the ages of 19 and 21, so we need time” he said.

Hearts of Oak are away to Bibiani Goldstars in the matchday seven of the Ghana Premier League on Saturday.
