Udinese will welcome AC Milan to the Dacia Arena this weekend as the Italian champions come in search of their first win in three games four games after drawing twice and losing once just as Udinese sit down in 10th ahead of the match.

Udinese did manage to beat Empoli last weekend thanks to a second half goal from Rodrigo Becao.

This was, however, their first victory since the end of January when they defeated Sampdoria away from home. The Udine side went on to draw with Hellas Verona, Sassuolo, Atalanta and Spezia, while losing to Torino and Inter Milan.

Udinese have now slipped into 10th in the league with only eight wins from 26 games, and quite incredibly five of those wins came in the first 14 games of the season.

It means 11 draws and seven defeats in the league now for them, with just 34 goals scored and 30 let in.

In fact, despite Juventus having 15 points taken off them in Serie A this campaign, Udinese are adrift of them by three points and behind sixth-placed Atalanta in the Europa Conference League spot by seven points.

As for Milan, they drew 1-1 with Salernitana last time out as Olivier Giroud’s late goal in the first half was cancelled out by Boulaye Dia’s second half strike.

The Serie A champions also drew 0-0 with Tottenham Hotspur 0-0 in their Champions League second leg two weeks ago, and this came just four days on from losing to Fiorentina in Florence.

Milan’s last win now came against Atalanta at the back end of February, but the club’s poor run of form in the league has been saved by the fact that Lazio, Roma and Inter Milan have all dropped points in recent times. This also means just a two-point gap on Inter in second and a one-point difference between them and Lazio.

These two last met on the opening weekend in Serie A, as Milan got their title defence off to a flying start. Becao did stun the San Siro with an early goal, but a penalty from Theo Hernandez and a finish from Ante Rebic brought the champions a 2-1 lead at half time.

Adam Masina scored for Udinese to make it 2-2, but Brahim Diaz scored before Rebic added another in a 4-2 win.

Forebet predicts a win for Milan and for the game to see over 2.5 goals.
