Forward Eddie Nketiah has scored and set up another in Arsenal’s 2-1 victory against FC Zurich in the UEFA Europa League.
Nketiah was given the nod to start up front in place of Gabriel Jesus at the Letzigrund Stadion in Switzerland.
His superb cross was met by Marquinhos in the 16th minute to put Arsenal in front.
In the second half, their roles were reversed as Nketiah pounced on the Brazilian’s pass to dispatch an excellent finish to restore the lead following Mirlind Kryeziu’s penalty just before half-time.
Mikel Arteta’s side top group A with the narrow win as PSV and FK Bodø/Glimt draw 1-1 in the other encounter.
