Ghanaian winger Christian Atsu is receiving treatment at an undisclosed hospital after his rescue from rubble on the back of the Turkey earthquake.
The former Chelsea and Newcastle player has been found alive after he was trapped in rubble following a 7.7 magnitude earthquake which occurred on Monday dawn.
Hatayspor manager Mustafa Özat: “Christian Atsu is currently in the hospital, his treatment continues. His foot is injured, but I do not know detailed information at the moment.”
“We are very happy that he is alive. We are also praying for our teacher Taner Savut. I hope we get good news.” (Radiospor)
Atsu, who plays for Turkish Süper Lig club Hatayspor was in action on Sunday, scoring a late goal to secure a 1-0 win over Kasimpasa.
