Barcelona v Napoli
Champions League match at Estadi Olimpic Lluis Companys, Barcelona
TV: TNT Sports, Tuesday, 8pm

Over 2.5 Goals

Neither Barcelona nor Napoli have been particularly convincing at the back this season. After 28 games in La Liga, the Spanish champions have conceded 34 goals – the most of any team in the top nine – while they have conceded an average of a goal per game in Europe this season.

Napoli, meanwhile, have conceded 32 times in 28 games and have conceded 10 goals in seven Champions League games. Going forward, Barcelona have scored an impressive 57 goals in 28 league games – an average of over two goals per game, while they are also averaging two goals per game in Europe.

The Italian side have been less clinical but have still scored 43 times in Serie A and 11 times in seven European games. It very much appears that whoever is to progress on Tuesday night will have to score at least twice to do so.

Khvicha Kvaratskhelia to have 1 or more Shots on Target

Khvicha Kvaratskhelia has not quite reached the heights that he scaled last season as Napoli claimed the Serie A title and reached the last eight of the Champions League, but he has still scored 10 league goals and is by far their most trigger-happy attacking player.

The Georgian winger averages 3.8 shots per game in Serie A and averages two shots per game in Europe. He will likely get chances on Tuesday night, with Barcelona unconvincing at home.

The reigning La Liga champions conceded in two of their three home games in the group stages and have conceded 19 goals in 15 home league games. Kvaratskhelia will need to be on form if Napoli are to cause an upset and he is good value to register at least one effort on goal.

Joao Cancelo to commit 2 or more Fouls

Barcelona boast one of the highest foul averages of any team left in the Champions League, averaging over 11 fouls per game. They conceded 14 fouls in the first leg against Napoli and it wouldn’t be surprising if they reached a similar number on Tuesday night in the return leg.

Joao Cancelo is averaging well over a foul per game in the league for the Catalans and is averaging 1.1 fouls per game in Europe, the third-highest of any Barcelona player. With so much riding on Tuesday’s game, there is every chance that Barcelona’s foul count will rise on Tuesday and Cancelo represents good value to commit at least two fouls.

Barcelona to Receive the Most Cards

The hosts received three bookings to Napoli’s zero in the first leg, which pretty much sums up the difference between the two sides when it comes to discipline. Xavi’s side have received 17 bookings and one red card in seven Champions League games – the seventh-worst record of any team in the competition.

Napoli, on the other hand, have received 11 bookings in seven games – the sixth-best record in the competition.

Barcelona out fouled Napoli by 14 to 11 in Naples and boast a higher foul-per-game average than the Italian champions. With that in mind, they are extremely good value to receive the most cards on Tuesday.

Over 4.5 Napoli Corners

Napoli won seven corners as they snatched a 1-1 draw against Barcelona three weeks ago and while they may not reach such lofty heights on Tuesday night, they still should win a significant amount.

Barcelona concede an average of just under four corners per game in the league and face a similar number in the Champions League, while Napoli average well over six corners per game in the league and almost eight corners per game in Europe.

Like the first leg, the Italian champions may find themselves behind at some stage and will have to lay siege to the Barcelona goal if that is the case. They should win at least five corners.
