Transfer of Ghanaian forward Ransford Königsdörffer to Hamburg set to fail due to cost factor

The transfer of German-Ghanaian attacker Ransford Königsdörffer to Hamburg SV is set to break down due to the cost involved.

As reported by your most trusted online portal last week, the young forward is a transfer of Hamburg SV.

The player also wants to leave German Liga 3 side Dynamo Dresden and has even made it clear to the club.

However, according to Dynamo Dresden Sports Director Ralf Becker, a move to Hamburg SV is unlikely to happen anytime soon.

He explained in a recent interview, “There are various factors. One is the amount of the fee, the other is that we have to compensate as much as possible. We need good substitutes and we need the money to make the player worth giving up. We’re not there yet.

“That’s why the players are here now and that can be the case for a long time to come.”

Meanwhile, Hamburg are pushing and wants to secure the signing of 20-year-old Ransford Königsdörffer before the end of this month.
