On the flip side, Everton sit twelfth. Frank Lampard’s side are ten points behind Tottenham and only four points clear of the bottom three.
Spurs have only lost one of their nine Premier League games this season, picking up six wins and two draws along the way.
Not only have they won three of their last four league outings, but they have also won five of their previous seven.
When you look at the bigger picture, Tottenham have suffered just three defeats in their past 23 Premier League outings – highlighting their progress under Antonio Conte.
Spurs head into Saturday’s clash on the back of a 3-2 victory over Eintracht Frankfurt in the Champions League, in which Son Heung-min bagged a brace.
As for Everton, they have only managed to win two of their nine Premier League clashes this term – registering four draws and three losses.
Only three sides have scored fewer goals than Everton’s eight, while no team has conceded fewer goals than Everton’s nine.
Despite their impressive recent defensive record, the Toffees have managed to win just three of their previous 26 away games across all competitions.
That said, they have only lost one of their previous eight. Can Lampard’s boys upset Conte’s side on Saturday?
Head-to-head: Believe it or not, Everton have only managed to win one of their past 20 meetings with Tottenham across all competitions.
Spurs are currently enjoying a four-game unbeaten streak in this fixture, having thrashed the Toffees 5-0 when the teams last met back in March.
Team news: Tottenham pair Emerson Royal and Japhet Tanganga are set to miss Saturday’s clash through injury, although Dejan Kulusevski could return.
Everton will be without the injured trio of Ben Godfrey, Andros Townsend and Nathan Patterson, while Yerry Mina and Mason Holgate are doubts.
Although Everton have made a solid start to the season, Tottenham should have more than enough firepower to claim all three points this weekend.
Forebet predicts that Spurs will score over 1.5 goals en route to victory, keeping the pressure on Man City and Arsenal.
