Tottenham Hotspur are close to signing Mohammed Kudus from West Ham United, with the player’s personal terms almost settled.
However, the deal is stuck due to West Ham’s high asking price.
Spurs have already made two offers, including a recent £55 million bid, but West Ham is holding out for more, reportedly around £60-65 million.
Kudus is keen on joining Spurs, attracted by the prospect of playing in the Champions League and working with manager Thomas Frank.
Spurs are looking to act fast to secure his services before Chelsea make advancemens.
West Ham’s financial struggles might ultimately force them to accept a higher offer, paving the way for Kudus to join Spurs.
