La Liga game at the Estadio Nuevo Los Carmenes, Granada
TV: Viaplay, Thursday, 7pm
Under 2.5 Goals
Granada have won a grand total of one of their last 15 La Liga fixtures while Valencia have won just six over the same period. Neither side is setting the world alight with their goal-scoring stats as well. The hosts have scored just four over their last five in the league while Valencia have scored just three over their last five. This one won’t be a classic, we’re backing Under 2.5 Goals.
Premier League game at Anfield, Liverpool
TV: TNT Sports, Thursday, 7:30pm
Both Teams to Score
Liverpool might be top of the Premier League but the Reds have kept just three clean sheets over their last 15 home fixtures in all competitions and just two over their last 10 at home in the league. Sheffield United don’t really have a snowball’s here of even getting a point based on the betting odds but Chris Wilder’s side have scored seven over their last five on the road and while it’s going against the market here, it wouldn’t surprise anyone to see Both Teams to Score landing.
Eredivisie game at the Johan Cruijff Arena, Amsterdam
TV: Discovery+, Thursday, 8pm
Ajax to Win
The Eredivisie doesn’t get much coverage on these pages but Ajax should be worthy of a punt here. Go Ahead Eagles have lost both of their most recent away league games without scoring and the hosts have netted 11 over their last five at home so should certainly be good enough to grab the three points on offer.
Premier League match at Stamford Bridge, London
TV: TNT Sports, Thursday, 8:15pm
Halftime Draw
Here’s a couple of stats that leaped off the screen at us. Chelsea have gone into the halftime break level in 16 of their 28 Premier League games while Man United have been level in 13 of their 29 matches at the end of the first 45 minutes of play. Here’s where it gets interesting though, the Blues have been drawing at HT in eight of their 14 at home while the Red Devils have been drawing in nine of their 15 away league outings. With those stats, the Half Time Draw price has loads of value.
Rasmus Hojlund to have 1 or more Shots on Target
Rasmus Hojlund returned to Premier League action against Brentford on Saturday night and duly had a shot on target. Of his seven league goals this season, four of them have been away from Old Trafford and he’s had a total of seven shots on target over his last four away games for United. He should be testing the reflexes of Dorde Petrovic between the Chelsea sticks here.
