Thursday 8.00pm: Bayer Leverkusen v West Ham
UEFA Europa League match at the BayArena
TV: TNT Sports 2

For Bayer Leverkusen to be top of the Bundesliga by 16 points at this stage of the campaign, and unbeaten all season, that is an astonishing achievement from Xabi Alonso. Everything is in their favour and this will be a tough one for West Ham.

West Ham love to upset the odds, but I don’t think they will manage it on Thursday night – but in the return leg at the London Stadium it could be very different.

I’m going for Bayer Leverkusen to Win, and I don’t think both teams will score, so I’m tipping a scoreline of 2-0.

Alongside that Leverkusen win, I’m also going for Patrik Schick to score. He has five goals in his five European games so far this season and they’ll hope he grabs another in this.

I’ll also take his teammate Jeremie Frimpong to have 1+ shots on target in the match. Leverkussen like to push players forward and he’s very dangerous from the right side.
