Ghana international and Arsenal midfielder Thomas Partey has been nominated for the “Best West African Player Abroad” at the inaugural 2025 CIS Awards, scheduled for June 20 in Conakry, Guinea.
The nomination celebrates Partey’s outstanding season with Arsenal, where he featured in 52 matches, scoring four goals and providing three assists.
His influence in midfield played a crucial role in Arsenal’s second-place Premier League finish and their semi-final run in the UEFA Champions League.
At 31 years old, Partey continues to demonstrate tactical intelligence, defensive solidity, and leadership ; qualities that have made him a key figure under Mikel Arteta and a role model for younger players.
