There are some people on the board that I think they cannot help Togbe Afede – Former Hearts of Oak coach Martin Koopman

Former Hearts of Oak coach Martin Koopman has once again taken aim at certain members of the club’s board, expressing doubt over their ability to assist owner Togbe Afede to manage the club.

This latest verbal volley comes hot on the heels of the board’s response to Koopman’s earlier accusations, where he claimed they wielded undue influence over his player selection.

Koopman, who parted ways with the team amidst a series of poor results, seems unrelenting in his critique of certain board members, suggesting that their limitations extend beyond merely meddling in player decisions.

“There are some people on the board that I think they cannot help him. You are President and you spend a lot of money on this but you cannot buy a team,” Koopman told ghanasportspage.com.

“You must have balance and around you, you must have people who can help you. You must trust them and whatever you say to them, they must also deliver. What I saw in those four months, they can’t help him,” he added.
