The team spirit is good – Nigeria coach Finidi George ahead of Ghana friendly

As the Super Eagles prepare for their upcoming international friendlies against Ghana and Mali, the team spirit remains high, according to interim coach Finidi George.

Currently, 22 players are present in the Super Eagles’ camp, with Wilfred Ndidi, Kelechi Iheanacho, Frank Onyeka, Francis Uzoho, Chidozie Awaziem, and Bright Osayi-Samuel expected to join their teammates in Marrakech today.

The team started their preparations for the friendlies on Tuesday.

Napoli star striker Victor Osimhen will miss the friendlies due to injury.

Speaking at the team’s training camp, Finidi George expressed his satisfaction with the team’s progress so far. He said, “Its been good we are still waiting for some players the players are here now have done a good job in training.

“It is not that intense because some of them are just traveling back so it’s been a good feeling the team spirit is good so I am happy about that,” he added.
