The highest paid player at every Premier League club

Revealed: The highest paid player at every Premier League club

Mohamed Salah put pen to paper on a new Liverpool deal on Friday afternoon, keeping him at Anfield until 2025.

On the back of Salah signing a new deal with the Merseysiders, it has been revealed that the Egyptian is now earning a wage of around £350,000-a-week – making him the highest-paid player in the history of the club.

Said fee is also believed to be around £130,000-a-week more than Liverpool’s previous highest earner, Virgil van Dijk, meaning it will be interesting to see how the Reds handle contract negotiations for their current top stars and new signings going forward, as they have set a new precedent with Salah’s latest contract.

But how does Salah’s £350,000-a-week compare the rest of the Premier League?

Well, Givemesport have now revealed how much every top earner from all 20 Premier League clubs is believed to be on at present.

Not too surprisingly, Manchester United have the highest top earner, paying Cristiano Ronaldo around £510,000-a-week.

Manchester City are then in second spot, paying Kevin De Bruyne £400,000-a-week, whilst Nottingham Forest, whose top earner is Ethan Horvath on £19,000-week, are at the other end of the scale.
