Semenyo’s 87th-minute strike reduced sparked hopes of a fight back after Michael Keane and Dominic Calvert Lewin had given the home side a two goal lead.
Lewis Cook and Luis Sinisterra scored in injury time to secure a 3-2 victory for the Cherries.
The win marks Bournemouth’s first of the season, earning them three points from three games.
Semenyo has now scored two goals with one assist in three games, making him a key player for Bournemouth this season.
