Spanish side Leganes narrowly miss out on signing hugely talented Ghanaian teenager [Asempa FM SportsNite] —

Spanish side Leganes came close to signing Ghanaian youth talent Salim Adams from New Edubiase United, according to Abdul Salam Yakubu on Asempa FM.

The former Ghana U20 trainee has joined Ghana Premier League side Hearts of Oak on a permanent deal and would switch to the American side in the coming days.

President of New Edubiase United, the club that transferred the 19-year-old to Hearts, has revealed he received an offer from the former La Liga campaigners.

“There was an offer from Leganes as well as some clubs in Sweden and Denmark,” he told Enoch Worlanyo on Asempa FM’s SportsNite show.

Adams has scored 2 goals in the Ghana Premier League and scored once in the CAF Champions League for Hearts of Oak.
