Southampton have dismissed a £10 million offer from Serie A side Atalanta for Ghanaian winger Kamaldeen Sulemana, according to Sky Sports News.
Known for his electric pace and flair, the 23-year-old still caught the eye with moments of brilliance at St. Mary’s.
He featured 26 times in the Premier League last season, registering one goal and an assist.
Atalanta are not the only club showing interest, fellow Italian side Genoa and Turkish giants Trabzonspor are also keeping tabs on the Ghana international.
Meanwhile, Southampton, who are planning their squad rebuild, appear keen to hold on to the winger or command a higher fee.
Sulemana joined the Saints from French side Stade Rennais in January 2023 and, despite an injury-riddled campaign, remains one of the club’s top assets.
