Shortlist for Ghana Premier League Goalkeeper of the month for February & March

Due to their outstanding performances for their clubs in the ongoing Ghana Premier League, four goalkeepers have been nominated for the National Ex-Goalkeeper’s Association sponsored monthly award for the months of February and March.

The four goalkeepers vying for the award are: Benjamin Asare of Accra Great Olympics, who had a standout performance in February and March. Asare kept three clean sheets in six games, conceded six goals, won three matches, drew one, and lost two.

Legon Cities FC’s Kwame Aziz also kept three clean sheets in six matches played within the period and helped his side to two wins, one draw and three losses.

Medeama SC’s Felix Kyei kept three clean sheets, with his side winning two matches in February and March. Kyei won one NASCO Man of the Match award in the Matchweek 21 win over Bechem United at Akoon Park.

Abdul Ganiu Mohammed of Karela United also earned a shortlist for keeping three clean sheets despite conceding seven goals in the months of February and March. Ganiu led his club to three victories in six games and also won one Man of the Match award.
