Abdul Karim Zito, the coach of Dreams FC, has drawn comparisons between young sensation Abdul Aziz Issah and Ghanaian football legend Abedi Ayew ‘Pele’.
Zito went as far as to suggest that Issah, at just 18 years old, surpasses Pele’s achievements at the same age.
Issah’s remarkable performances have caught the attention of football enthusiasts, particularly his contributions to Dreams FC’s victory in the Ghana FA Cup and their commendable run in the CAF Confederation Cup.
Notably, Issah’s impact transcends club football, as he played a pivotal role in the Black Satellites’ triumphant gold medal campaign at the 2023 African Games.
Zito, recognizing Issah’s exceptional talent, likened him to Abedi Pele and advocated for his inclusion in the national team setup.
“Abedi Pele was brought to Aburi at the age of 17. So, if he is 18, Abedi did not play like this boy in playing at this level. If I were in Black Stars, I would call him. It’s long overdue,” Zito remarked, highlighting Issah’s maturity and readiness for the international stage.
