Antoine Semenyo is set to play his final game for Bournemouth against Tottenham Hotspur on Wednesday night, before completing his transfer to Manchester City.
According to reports, there’s an agreement between all parties involved that Semenyo’s last game for the Cherries will be against Spurs, after which steps will be taken to finalize the deal.
The Ghana international has been in excellent form for Bournemouth this season, and his departure will leave a significant gap in the team.
City are expected to pay around £65 million to activate Semenyo’s release clause, with the player agreeing to a five-year contract at the Etihad Stadium.
Bournemouth manager Andoni Iraola has confirmed that Semenyo will be available for the games against Arsenal and Tottenham, but emphasized that “nothing is signed” yet. The transfer is expected to be concluded shortly after the Spurs game.
