Ghanaian winger Antoine Semenyo is set to undergo a medical with Manchester City on Thursday, paving the way for a £65m move to the Premier League champions.
The 26-year-old has a release clause in his Bournemouth contract, which expires on Friday, and City are the only club to have formally contacted the Cherries to trigger it.
Semenyo is expected to feature for Bournemouth against Tottenham Hotspur on Wednesday night, but manager Andoni Iraola conceded it could be his last game for the club.
The winger has been in excellent form this season, scoring nine goals and providing three assists for the Cherries.
Manchester City are looking to bolster their attacking options, with Ruben Dias ruled out for up to six weeks with a hamstring injury and Josko Gvardiol set to undergo surgery for a leg fracture.
Semenyo is expected to add depth and versatility to Pep Guardiola’s squad.
