Former Ghanaian international, Samuel Inkoom, has set his sights on returning to Asante Kotoko before concluding his football career.
After winning the FIFA U-20 World Cup, he returned to Ghana following his European stint and signed a one-year deal with Hearts of Oak.
In an interview with Kumasi-based FOX FM, the former Black Stars defender emphasized his desire to play for the Porcupine Warriors before announcing his retirement.
“I have always maintained that I will play for Kotoko again before retiring; it is my fervent wish,” Inkoom expressed.
He went on to say, “I signed a one-year contract with Hearts of Oak, and now that the contract has ended, I still aspire to play for Kotoko again before I bid farewell to the game.”
The 34-year-old previously played for Asante Kotoko in 2008 before joining FC Basel in Switzerland.
