A photo stemming from the aftermath of Arsenal’s downing of Manchester United is no doubt set to bring a collective smile to the faces of the club’s supporters on Saturday evening.
The image in question showcases the most high-profile pair of Hale End talents to have burst into the club’s first-team setup in recent seasons, surrounded by two of those to have lit up the red half of north London for many years prior.
The Gunners academy duo? Bukayo Saka and Emile Smith Rowe.
The club icons to have joined their post-match celebrations? Thierry Henry and Dennis Bergkamp.

Xhaka makes sure
Saka and Smith Rowe taking their respective places centre stage across the club’s social media platforms of course comes after Arsenal’s highly-regarded young duo, in particular the former, played an integral role in their side’s latest three-point haul earlier in the day.
Amid the tense battle for a top-four berth, the Gunners welcomed Man United to the Emirates for a Premier League clash, in the knowledge that a victory would not only guide them into the driver’s seat for Champions League football, but also all but end the European hopes of their opponents on the day.
And, when all was said and done, emerge on the right side of the result is precisely what Mikel Arteta’s troops went on to do.
Goals on the part of Nuno Tavares, the aforementioned Saka and the superb Granit Xhaka ultimately proved enough for Arsenal to put United to the sword by three goals to one, leapfrogging north London rivals Tottenham into 4th in the English top-flight in the process.
