Cristiano Ronaldo was last night joined in a record-setting club by a whole host of Real Madrid stars, on the back of Los Blancos’ latest Champions League triumph.

Carlo Ancelotti’s men of course returned to action just shy of 24 hours ago.

Having already added to the club’s bulging silverware cabinet by means of the La Liga title, Real made the trip to Paris, hopeful of making it a double for the season in a meeting with Liverpool.

Now, however, the Portuguese has been joined by no fewer than 9 (yes, nine) new entrants into what was once such an exclusive club.

Alongside Ronaldo, all of Gareth Bale, Karim Benzema, Casemiro, Dani Carvajal, Isco, Toni Kroos, Marcelo, Luka Modric and Nacho have now tasted glory in the continent’s most prestigious club competition in five seasons.
