Black Stars goalkeeper trainer Richard Kingson says he is satisfied with Lawrence Ati-Zigi in the international friendly against Mexico despite conceding two goals.
Ghana suffered a 2-0 defeat at the hands of the South Americans at the Bank of America Stadium following goals from Hirving Lozano and Antuna Romero.
Ati-zigi has not kept a clean sheet in his last three appearances for Ghana.
Kingson offered his assessment on the goalkeeper to Sports, expressing contentment despite the pressure.
“Yes, he did very well, especially in handling very hard and difficult passes.”
“His concentration and determination were very high. We are going back to our training grounds to correct some of the mistakes and improve in the future.”
Ati Zigi became Ghana’s first-choice goalkeeper at the 2022 World Cup, featuring in all three group games in Qatar.
