On Thursday afternoon, Reggina and Frosinone clash at the Stadio Oreste Granillo, in a potentially vital match at the top of Serie B.

Reggina

Filippo Inzaghi’s team is currently in second place in the Serie B table, three points behind Thursday night’s opponents at the top of the table.

Reggina heads into this clash on the back of a five-game unbeaten run in the Italian second tier. A 2-0 win at Brescia last time out means that they have won three of their previous four matches in Serie B.

Reggina’s lofty position is highly based on strong attacking displays, as the home team has scored at least two goals in five of their previous six league matches.

The Amaranto has a stellar recent home record in Serie B, as Reggina has won five of their last seven league games on home soil while also scoring at least twice in all of their previous seven home matches in Serie B.

Frosinone

Fabio Grosso’s team are currently top of the Serie B table and looking in good shape to win promotion to the Italian top flight.

An eight-game unbeaten run in Serie B has helped Frosinone to their position at the top of the table.

However, the visitors have now drawn their last two league matches in the league against Cagliari and Suditirol. The draw against the latter means that three of Frosinone’s last four league games have produced under 2.5 goals.

Frosinone’s recent away form in the Italian second tier has been decent, as they are unbeaten in their last four league games on their travels.

What does Forebet predict?

Forebet predicts that these two will cancel each other, and this potentially pivotal game will end in a low-scoring draw.
