Spanish La Liga side Real Betis are in negotiations with FC Basel to sign Ghanaian defender Jonas Adjetey.
According to reports, the Spanish club has offered around €4 million for the 21-year-old center-back.
Real Betis manager Manuel Pellegrini is impressed with Adjetey’s skills and wants to strengthen his team’s defense.
The former Great Olympics man has been instrumental in the Swiss Super League with FC Basel since joining them in 2022, making 26 appearances.
Adjetey was part of the recent Black Stars squad that won 3-0 against Madagascar and 5-0 against Chad in the 2026 FIFA World Cup Qualifiers.
