Ransford Yeboah Königsdörffer scores and gets sent off against SV Darmstadt

On Friday night at the Volkspark Stadion, Hamburger SV lost to SV Darmstadt 98 2-1 at home. Ransford Yeboah Königsdörffer scored the team’s consolation goal and was also given a red card.

In the fourth minute of the game, German-born Ghanaian defender Patric Pfeiffer, collected a ball from teammate Tobias Kempe to give the visitors the lead.

Phillip Tietz scored three minutes later to give SV Darmstadt 98 a 2-0 lead.

In the 87th minute of the second half, Yeboah scored the consolation goal for Hamburger SV.

Yeboah was given a straight red card after two minutes of scoring for unsportsmanlike behavior.

Substitute Aaron Opoku of Hamburger SV was also dismissed after collecting two yellow cards.

The incredibly heated match came to an end with the Rothosen empty-handed.
