The youngster deservedly earned his place following his Man of the Match display in Hamburg’s 2-1 win over Hannover on Friday.
Königsdörffer scored a brilliant goal in the narrow victory to extend Hamburg’s winning streak to five games.
He was voted the club’s man of the match by the fans in the matchday 10 fixture.
