Black Queens midfielder Princess Dankwah Marfo says Ghana are fully prepared and motivated ahead of their crucial 2026 WAFCON qualifier against Egypt in Ismailia.

Speaking after the team’s final training session at the Suez Canal Authority Stadium, Princess revealed that the players have taken preparations seriously and are eager to make a statement in the first leg.

“Training has been really serious, it’s been very detailed, and we can’t wait to start the game because we know how important this game is for us and I believe with the preparation that we would go far,” she said.

The midfielder also called on Ghanaians to rally behind the team, stressing the importance of fan support in their quest for victory.

“Obviously, the fans would play a big impact in our performances so we pray that they have hope in us to pray for us and yeah, we will do our best to deliver,” she added.

The Black Queens will face Egypt on Thursday, October 23, 2025, at the Suez Canal Authority Stadium in Ismailia, before hosting the return leg in Accra.
