Police on manhunt for suspects behind Maxwell Konadu attack in Sunyani

The Ghana Police Service are on a manhunt for two persons who attacked the coach of Nsoatreman FC, Mr. Maxwell Konadu, during a betPawa Premier League game, yesterday, 19th November 2023, at the Sunyani Coronation Park.

The unfortunate incidents occurred after the Match day 11  match between Bofoakwa Tano FC and Nsoatreman FC.

The coach who sustained a head injury during the attack is currently receiving medical attention.

In a statement issued on Monday, the Police assured the general public that they will do everything within their power to nab the perpetrators.

Meanwhile, the Executive Council of the Ghana Football Association has ordered a temporary ban on Bofoakwa Tano FC from using the Sunyani Coronation Park as its home venue with immediate effect.
