The Black Queens have been crowned champions of the Pink Ladies Cup after their final match against Tanzania was called off due to unrest in the Middle East.

Ghana’s senior women’s national team secured the title with two convincing wins, beating Hong Kong and Russia 4-0 each.

Doris Boaduwaa led the charge, scoring three goals and earning the Golden Boot award. Goalkeeper Cynthia Konlan Findib also shone, keeping two clean sheets and winning the Golden Glove award.

The first game saw Princess Marfo, Doris Boaduwaa, Chantelle Boye-Hlorkah, and Ajegipena Zakaria score in a 4-0 win over Hong Kong.

In the second match, Boaduwaa scored twice, with Stella Nyamekye and Ajegipena Zakaria adding to the 4-0 victory over Russia.

The team is expected to break camp soon, with players returning to their respective clubs ahead of the postponed Women’s Africa Cup of Nations, now scheduled for July 25 to August 16, 2026.
