PHOTOS: Black Stars train at Baba Yara to finalize preparations for Namibia friendly on Monday

The Black Stars of Ghana on Sunday held a final training session at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium to finalize preparations for a friendly match against Namibia.

The international friendly match scheduled to be played on Monday, January 8, forms part of preparations for the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) tournament.

So far, 26 out of the 27 players invited by coach Chris Hughton have reported to camp except Mohammed Kudus.

Today, the Black Stars players in camp did some work in the gym before moving to the Baba Yara Sports Stadium to train.

The players in camp include Richard Ofori, Joseph Wollacott, Lawrence Ati-Zigi, Alidu Seidu, Denis Odoi, Kingsley Schindler, Gideon Mensah, Abdul Fatawu Hamid, Nicholas Opoku, and Salisu Mohammed.

The others are, Daniel Amartey, Alexander Djiku, Baba Iddrisu, Elisha Owusu, Abdul Samed Salis, Richmond Lamptey, Majeed Ashimeru, Andre Ayew, Ransford Yeboah Koningsdoffer, Osman Bukari, Joseph Painstil, Ernest Nuamah, Jordan Ayew, Antoine Semenyo, Inaki Williams and Jonathan Sowah.

The friendly against Namibia will kick off at 8pm at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium tomorrow.
