Participants for GFA Sponsored Licence D Coaching Course for Women

Published: 2 years ago
Division one

The Ghana Football Association (GFA) fully sponsored License D Coaching Course for an all-female class will begin on Monday, January 29 at the Ghanaman Soccer Centre of Excellence, Prampram.

The 40 participants for the course are to report to the Ghanaman Centre of Excellence at Prampram at 4pm on Sunday, January 28, 2024.

This is part of GFA’s goal to increase the number of female coaches to close the gender gap demonstrated in our football ecosystem with regard to coaching.

Some of the key training areas include the Ghana Football DNA, growth and development of young footballers, methods of coaching, and cardiovascular resuscitation/administration of first aid.

Participants will also be taken through a series of practical sessions. The sessions are led by selected CAF Coaching Instructors and FIFA Coach Educators under the leadership of the Acting Technical Director, Professor Joseph Kwame Mintah.
