Partey’s Villarreal eye second spot in La Liga with Levante clash

Thomas Partey’s Villarreal is looking to climb to second place in La Liga with a win against struggling Levante today.

The Yellow Submarine is currently third, one point behind Real Madrid, and will be eager to capitalize on their opponents’ poor form.

Villarreal has been in excellent shape, winning six consecutive La Liga matches, while Levante has lost five straight games and sits bottom of the table.

Partey, who has been impressive since joining Villarreal, will be crucial in controlling the midfield and creating chances for his team.

The Ghanaian midfielder has already made a significant impact, registering 44 touches and completing 32 passes at an 84% success rate in his last match against Girona.

Villarreal’s strong defensive record, having conceded only 13 goals in 15 matches, will also give them confidence against Levante’s leaky backline.
