The 29-year old has made just 16 appearances this season under Hughes and has already told KickOffGhana.com he has no future at Craven Cottage. “I haven’t spoken about it before but there is no future for me at Fulham. I know my agent is working hard to resolve the situation,” he told KickOffGhana.com. “It has been a difficult season for me. I have made mistakes and I will be the first to admit but to go from a first team member to having to watch the game from the stands has been difficult to take.” Hughes doesn’t sound particularly keen to hold unto him either. “John is out of contract in the summer and I said we will look at the situation at the end of the season,” Hughes said. Paintsil who joined Fulham from West Ham two seasons ago was a first team player under Roy Hodgson but found his opportunities limited under Mark Hughes after a string of errors in the opening weeks of the season. He worked his way back into first team reckoning but own goals against Liverpool and Aston Villa sealed his fate.
