Medeama SC’s Technical Director, Augustine Evans Adotey, is confident about the team’s chances of reclaiming the Ghana Premier League title in the upcoming 2024/2025 season.
Despite finishing eighth last season, Adotey believes the team has learned from its struggles and is now prepared for success.
Adotey attributed last season’s disappointing performance to a grueling schedule.
“The constant travel and matches took a toll on the team. But we’ve put that behind us and are now focused on reclaiming the title,” he told 3Sports
“The past is behind us. Our target now is to reclaim the title, and I’m confident we’ll achieve it. The constant travel and matches took a toll on the team but we’ve put that behind us and are now focused on reclaiming the title.”
With the new season set to kick off on September 6, Medeama has been intensifying their preparations in Koforidua.
The team will return to their base in Tarkwa to fine-tune their strategy before the season opener against Accra Lions
