Head coach of Accra Hearts of Oak Sporting Club, Didi Dramani, has appealed to supporters to come out in their numbers for Sunday’s Ghana Premier League clash against Bibiani Gold Stars FC.
The Phobians travel for the Week 24 fixture on March 1 aiming to extend their recent steady run of form, having recorded two wins and three draws in their last five matches.
Dramani acknowledged the strong backing the team received in their previous game against Berekum Chelsea Football Club, admitting the fans’ presence played a key role in motivating the squad.
“They were massive last Sunday and we entreated them to continue this approach that we are into this struggle together, so they should keep supporting us. Our fans in the Ashanti Region need to come around. Those close to Tarkwa and other environs need to come around on Sunday to give us their mighty support as our number 12 players,” he told Hearts TV.
Gold Stars head into the encounter on the back of three wins in their last five outings, setting up what promises to be a fiercely contested battle at 3:00 pm.
With both sides pushing for strong league finishes, Sunday’s showdown could have significant implications in the title race.
