Our destiny is in our hands – Hearts of Oak coach Aboubakar Ouattara ahead of must win Bechem Utd game

Hearts of Oak’s head coach, Ouattara Aboubakar, is determined to steer his team to safety in the Ghana Premier League.

Currently sitting at 14th place in the league standings, the Phobians are fighting to avoid relegation. Their recent goalless draw against Accra Great Olympics has left them in a precarious position.

Coach Aboubakar expressed frustration at their lowly position in the standings despite their strong performance against Great Olympics.

He believes that with more consistent displays like the one against Olympics, they would be in a better position.

However, he remains optimistic, emphasizing that the team’s fate is in their own hands as they gear up for a crucial match against Bechem United on June 15th.

“We are starting preparation from Tuesday before we go to Bechem for the last match. The future is in our hands, not from anybody but from us.

“We are going to fight to get that win and stay in the league,” he stated.

Bechem United, currently placed seventh, will pose a significant challenge in the final round of league games.
