Dream FC head coach, Karim Zito says his outfit has had a successful campaign in the CAF Confederations Cup.

The Still Believe lads continue to make waves in their first appearance in the CAF Confederation Cup, as they delivered an exceptional performance at the Baba Yara Stadium, thumping Angolan side Academica do Lobito 4-0 in the CAF Confederations Cup.

With this resounding triumph, Dreams FC have amassed nine points, placing them second Group A.

Speaking to Kessben FM, Zito asserted his outfits Africa campaign has been successful after defying all odds to reach the group stages of the competition in their debut season.

“Honestly, no one gave us the chance to go far in this competition. To me, I think our Africa campaign has been successful. In all, we are able to pick victory an away and home win against Academica do Lobito which has propelled us to the second position”

“We also have another home game against Club Africain. To me, the performance is okay, the player has done well as well as the leadership of the club. We are on course; we are just a win away from progressing to the knockout stage” he said.

Dreams FC are just a win away from qualifying to the knockout stage of the Confederations. They host Club Africain at the Baba Yara Stadium before away fixture against Rivers United.
