Despite the Black Stars’ 2-0 defeat to Sudan, head coach Otto Addo extended his congratulations to the Sudanese team and their coach, Kwesi Appiah, for their strong performance.
Addo praised Sudan’s determination and professionalism while calling for unity within the Black Stars as they move forward.
“First of all, I would like to congratulate Sudan and their coach, Kwesi Appiah, for their performance,” Addo said. “We need to take lessons from this defeat and come together as a team to fight for our AFCON qualification.”
Addo highlighted that the key to bouncing back is unity and belief in each other, encouraging the players to stick together and support one another through difficult times.
As Ghana faces two crucial matches in the remaining qualifiers, Addo’s focus is on rebuilding morale and preparing for the challenge ahead.
“The last two days, I was down. But now, I’ve received a lot of support from family and friends, and I’m back on track,”Addo shared. “The team needs that same support from each other to keep moving forward.”
Ghana will face Niger and Angola in their remaining two matches in November.
