Ghana head coach Otto Addo says he’s delighted with Mohammed Kudus’ impressive run of form as the Black Stars prepare for their decisive World Cup qualifying fixtures.

The national team will face the Central African Republic and Comoros in back-to-back games that could determine their spot at the 2026 FIFA World Cup in North America.

Kudus has hit top gear since joining Tottenham Hotspur in the summer, capping his fine start with a goal and an assist in the club’s 2–1 win over Leeds United before the international break.

The 25-year-old’s tally now stands at five goal contributions in seven Premier League outings, underlining his growing influence at Spurs.

“Surely, if somebody scores, I’m happy for everybody who scores. But he did well. He created a lot of chances for Tottenham. He had some assists as well,” said Addo during Ghana’s pre-match press conference against CAR.

Kudus will once again be central to Ghana’s hopes as the Black Stars aim to book their ticket to the World Cup with victory over the Central African Republic on Wednesday.

They will wrap up their qualifying campaign with a home clash against Comoros on Sunday, October 8.
