Black Stars head coach Otto Addo has stressed the importance of high-quality football facilities to enhance his team’s performance.
Addo expressed concerns about the current state of the pitch at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium, highlighting the need for a well-maintained surface to enable his players to perform optimally.
“A good pitch is essential for our playing style, and it’s worrying that the current state of the pitch may hinder our performance,” Addo said.
“We’re discussing ways to improve the situation, as we want our players to excel.”
“We need to improve our facilities and increase opportunities for play. More stadia in various parts of the country will help raise the quality of football,” he added.
Ghana will face Angola on September 5 and Niger four days later in the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) qualifiers.
