Okwawu United share spoils with Koforidua Sempe Fi on DOL return, Susubiribi pip Kotoku Royals in Zone Three

Returnees, Okwawu United drew 0-0 with Koforidua Sempe FI in their first Division One League game since their return to the second tier in June. Okwawu United failed to take their chances, especially in the first half as they came close twice in a game of two halves. Coach Prince Owusu had the opponents on the ropes fir most parts of the game but lacked the cutting edge to win the game as the visitors held on to pick a vital point against one of the best teams in the Zone.

Meanwhile Susubiribi United recorded a slim win over Kotoku Royals at home. Daniel Asafo scored the only goal of the game in the 72nd minute to secure all points for Susubiribi United.

In Tema – Golden Kicks drew 1-1 against Na God in a mouthwatering derby. Samuel Lamptey scored the first goal in the 69th minute before Kwadwo Owusu netted in the 82nd minute to settle matters for Na God FC.
