Division one

Nora Häuptle is in Saudi Arabia on a player-monitoring mission ahead of pending international competitions.

Her first stop was in Jeddah for the game between Al Ahli and Al Ittihad.

Black Queens winger Alice Kusi climbed off the bench to deliver a stellar performance for her side, Al Ahli while former Black Princesses defender, Cecilia Hagan was also in action for her side, Al Ittihad.

The senior women’s national team coach will embark on more of such monitoring exercises to observe players for future assignments.

The team has earned qualification to next year’s  Women’s Africa Cup of Nations in Morocco.

Ghana have another important assignment against Zambia in the third round of the 2024 Olympic Games qualifiers in February.
