Hearts of Oak goalkeeper and skipper Benjamin Asare acknowledged that the 2024/25 season hasn’t gone as planned, with the team likely to end the campaign without a trophy.

Despite their 5th-place finish in the Premier League and FA Cup exit, Asare expressed optimism about the team’s future prospects.

“We admit things didn’t go as we wanted, but we urge the fans to have faith in us,” Asare said after Hearts of Oak’s win against Berekum Chelsea.

“Next season, we will work hard to ensure the team improves.”

Asare assured fans that the team will uplift their performance and challenge for titles next season.

The team’s upcoming match against Accra Lions will be a chance for them to maintain momentum before the season ends.
