Nations FC smash Berekum Chelsea, Aduana leave it late to beat Asante Kotoko

Aduana FC grabbed all the spoils against Asante Kotoko at Nana Agyeman Badu I Park on Marchday 22 of the Ghana Premier League on Sunday. 































































































































































































































































The Dormaa lads shot into the lead in the 9th minute through Kelvin Obeng as he latched onto an early pressure. But his goal was cancelled by Steven Mukwala just before the half time whistle. 
































































































































































































































































































































































































The game was heading to a draw until Richard Mahama’s header from close range gave the host a 2-1 win. 
































































































































































































































































Aduana FC kept their calm and protected the lead for a home victory over the Reds to move to third place in the league table, three points behind leaders FC Samartex, while Asante Kotoko dropped down to seventh. 


















































































































































































At the Theatre of Dreams, Evans Osei Wusu and Agyenim Boateng Mensah made the headlines as Dreams FC came from behind to draw 2-2 with leaders FC Samartex. 


Evans Osei Wusu scored two quick fire goals in the 20th and 23rd minutes for FC Samartex before Agyenim Boateng netted inside 25 minutes to reduce the deficit. Back from the break, the former Nzema Kotoko attacker leveled matters for Dreams FC in the 49th minute to give his side a point at Dawu.


Meanwhile, Nations FC displayed yet another impressive performance at home to beat Berekum Chelsea 3-0 at Dr. Kwame Kyei Sports Complex at Abrankese. 


Asamoah Boateng Afriyie scored two goals inbetween Bismark Oppong’s stunner to win the day for the host. 


Asamoah Boateng opened the scoring in the 45th minute to give his side a first lead before Bismark Oppong added the second inside 71 minutes. Boateng put the nail in the coffin in the 82nd minute as Nations FC grabbed the points. 

At Nsoatre, Nsoatreman FC returned to winning ways as they pip chanpions Medeama SC 1-0 with Stephen Diyou scoring the only goal of the game. 


Emmanuel Abban scored the winner for Bechem United in a 1-0 win over Legon Cities at Fosu Gyeabour Park. 

At the DUN’S Park, Bibiani Gold Stars defeated Bofoakwa Tano 2-1 to continue their impressive home run. Alex Aso netted in the 3rd minute before Appiah McCarthy drilled home from the edge of the box inside 9 minutes. 

Solomon Oblitey scored for Bofoakwa Tano in the 28th minute but it wasn’t enough to give them a point as Gold Stars held on to win 2-1. 

Finally on Sunday, Karela United scored ab 89th minute goal to beat Real Tamale United in the Tamale
