Nations FC gaffer Kasim Mingle aims to win Ghana Premier League title

Nations FC tactician Kasim Ocansey Mingle has set sights on winning the Ghana Premier League title this season.

The Abrankese-based club has been impressive in their maiden Ghana Premier League, winnin g 8, drawing 3 and losing 6 in the first half of the campaign.

Nations FC finished fourth after the first round of the domestic top-flight after shaking off a difficult start to the season.

The Premier League bounces back this weekend following the closure of the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations in Ivory Coast.

Meanwhile, Nations FC’s game against Dreams FC in the week 18 fixture has been postponed due to the Still Believe lads involvement in the CAF Confederations Cup this weekend.

Ahead of the start of the second round, Mingle insists his side wants to win the Ghana Premier League title at the end of the season.

“We will win the league if the opportunity comes but if we are unable to win it we will ensure we finish in a respectable position. It’s football, we have to aim high. All clubs competing in the league ultimate aim is to win it so we are aiming at that” he said.
