Defender Razak Simpson of Ghana Premier League side Nations FC has expressed his disappointment after his side’s defeat to Hearts of Oak on Friday.
The Kumasi-based outfit suffered a 2-0 loss to the Phobians in a Week 32 fixture at the Accra Sports Stadium.
Goals from Kassim Cisse and Hamza Issah in the 10th and 15th minutes respectively secured maximum points for the Phobians.
Speaking to the media after the game, Simpson said, “We are really, really disappointed because we played well but they had an early goal which cost us. I’m very, very disappointed.
“I wouldn’t say concentration, but it was a lack of communication that made us concede the first goal and the second goal.”
The loss extends Nations FC’s poor run, with two draws, and four losses in their last seven matches.
