NAC Breda will offer Ghana striker Mathew Amoah a deal with the senior side after impressing on trial, club insiders have told GHANAsoccernet.com exclusively.
GHANAsoccernet.com reported earlier this month that the 32-year-old would be offered a deal with the amateur side after failing to convince manager Nebojsa Gudelj of his abilities.
But the Dutch side have a made U-turn on their decision and are now ready to offer the Ghanaian international another shot at the top level after impressing heavily in friendlies since he joined the side on a trial session last month.
Top officials of the European outfit have informed Ghana’s leading football outlet that Amoah could be offered a deal after showing signs of his huge potential.
Scottish side Dundee United are believed to be closing in on a move for NAC striker NadirÇiftçi, which will then eventually pave the way for the club to buy Amoah as his replacement.
The former Borussia Dortmund striker has scored over 10 goals since joining the Eredivise side during pre-season trials.
He scored a superb hat trick of goals in NAC’s 13-0 thrashing of amateur sideVV Steenberg last week.
